I just received my first international blocks for my Heroes Quilt! Charlotte from London, England, sent two beautiful blocks filled with Denyse Schmidt's new fabric. I love the combo of colors she used!
Goosebumps! Every time I read this! That is all I have to say about this card!
Tammy, aka my lifesavor, aka the woman who generously donated her Longarm Quilting skills for this quilt sent this super fun block. Thanks again, Tammy, for offering to quilt this. I owe you big time!
It's starting to actually look like a quilt! YEAH!!!
I'm linking up with Lee over at FreshlyPieced!

I love how all the blocks have such different fabrics and yet they play so well together. Looking good!
ReplyDeleteIt just gets better and better! Love the new additions!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking fantastic, this is going to be a spectacular quilt!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet note sent with beautiful blocks!
ReplyDeleteNothing beats a colorful string quilt, no? This will look lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great string quilt, and even better that it's a collaboration :) Looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOmigosh, they look fanastic together. Great visual impact! That note gave me goosebumps too!
ReplyDeleteI've been hankering to make another string quilt. It looks like the strips are varying sizes but evenly put on each side on these?
ReplyDeleteI've only made a string pillow (two actually) but I really love this! Great colors!
ReplyDeleteAlso, what foundation did you use for the string fabric? I've used tissue paper and sewed with a smaller stitch length and tore it away, but I feel like I could use something else? Just wondering. Thanks! :)
Beautiful! I love string piecing; I finally decided on a color palette and made a quilt top using this method. Yours is beautiful, so bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteOH! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the colors!!!!
